Painted Sketch - Day 13 - Drifting

I decided to finish this for Illustration Friday's "drifting." I can't decide if I like it better with the girl smaller or larger. Although I want to really see her larger, when I did enlarged her, the composition didn't feel quite right. I tried moving her around, but I don't know...I kind of like the extra breathing room in the top image.
Any thoughts?

Painted Sketch - Day 9

So here are my sketches for today. Little time and I am posting quite late. I don't know what these images have to do with one another.Hmmm...maybe those are the creatures that live on the moon...only she can't see them. Or can she?
By the way if you thought there was no life on the moon, some scientists think there is a possibility...microbes in it's craters perhaps.

Painted Sketch - Day 7 - Unfold

Isabel saw that the flower unfolded. Then an idea unfolded.
Maybe this is a stretch for Illustration Friday's "unfold," but the painting needed a story!
This is a tiny painting...only the size of a business card.

Painted Sketch - Day 4
So this is day four of my new 21-day challenge. It is a bit more of a challenge to paint sketches than to draw as they are becoming partly done paintings rather than sketches, I feel.I will be away for the weekend, so I won't be able to post for a couple of days.
Here's hoping for a fresh perspective when I return!

Painted Sketch - Day 1 - Craving
This is my post for Illustration Friday's word "craving'"
It feels good to have completed the sketch-a-day challenge.
Now I am on to my next challenge...and I am inviting anyone who reads this to join me!
So here it is. Complete a daily sketch, but in paint (or your choice of medium). For me it will be paint because I want to get into the habit of painting every day. The challenge lasts for 21 days and you spend at least 15 minutes on it. (The above took much longer.)
Are you in??? Let me know!

Daily Sketch - Day 18
Ok this one's for Gina. I played with levels in Photoshop...but not for long 'cuz it is getting late. I ended up getting rid of the lightest white and bringing the values a bit closer. It just felt better. Still...I think it maybe could use a bit of white. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. :)
