IF - Late

Here is my image for Illustration Friday's "late." I did this in April of this year for the SCBWI conference. It was my submission for a poster contest called "Take Flight." I would have liked to submit something new, but my scanner is fried. (I have had it for awhile, anyway and it's time for a new one.) I am also madly scrambling to get a typography homework assignment done that is due tonight. Am taking a class at the Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston. It's called Urban Politics of Type--which is a fancy name for an intermediate level typography class. However the focus is on the city. Good thing I don't have to scan anything today!

I have a busy weekend coming up. I'll have to squeeze in time to get a new scanner. I have not even looked at scanners to see what is out there. Any suggestions?

Way cool. I like the movement and unity of it.

Very nice - unusual too. I'm siding with the critters.

I thought this was an excellent piece for the SCBWI contest - and it works well for this week's IF theme too!

I have an old mid-level epson scanner you can have if you like - it's finicky, which is why I replaced it - it doesn't always want to scan but when it does the quality is good. I no longer recommend my cheap-big scanner (mustek), I'm planning on replacing it with a good quality large epson scanner when I can afford it.

Delightful! I really like the BG on this one as well! Happy Allhallows weekend! And good luck finding a scanner!
