Hi Anne Marie, I love the little bird! To answer your question, after I saw your sketches on the vellum, I unearthed some and gave it a go. I really like it. I had been using Bristol before that, but it wrinkled much more easily and occasionally pilled. I usually draw with a mixture of le pens, highlighters, watercolor sets, and Elmer's Paintastics (dorky I know, but really portable).
Ann Marie, you have so many really creative pieces! I LOVE this one. The litte girl's expression is precious! And that little chick is spot on! Great job!

What a coincidence! My BIRD is a pancake. And here you've drawn a bird helping with some art. Which makes me hungry for pancakes.
Nicely done, and nice to meet you!
Such a sweet drawing. Lovely idea.

Very sweet!
Nice. Reminds me of adapting my smeared ink lines as textures :)

Hopefully only footmarks!! =D Love the deadpan bird expression, like, "Just try to stop me!"
