Painted Sketch - Day 1 - Craving

Kate craved some quiet time to read.

This is my post for Illustration Friday's word "craving'"

It feels good to have completed the sketch-a-day challenge.
Now I am on to my next challenge...and I am inviting anyone who reads this to join me!

So here it is. Complete a daily sketch, but in paint (or your choice of medium). For me it will be paint because I want to get into the habit of painting every day. The challenge lasts for 21 days and you spend at least 15 minutes on it. (The above took much longer.)

Are you in??? Let me know!

Lovely lovely rich colors... It looks like you used pastels - is it paint? Did you transfer the sketch directly? I love the paper you chose too.

Daily painting IS a challenge but only because my work area is so cluttered. I guess I know what I have to do! =)

Oh, I know how she feels. Great illustration. Love how you've positioning her within her environment, it perfectly supports the thought.
