Ripple

In this life we cannot do great things.
We can only do small things with great love.

-Mother Theresa

Many small acts are adding up to thousands of dollars donated to help wildlife affected by the Gulf Coast oil spill. Illustrator Kelly Light created an opportunity for artists and art lovers alike to help. Artists donate small works of art which can be purchased at her blog Ripple for a $10.00 donation.

Here is my first contribution. It's a gouache painting on bristol.

In the wake of this environmental tragedy, it's empowering to know that as a community of artists and concerned citizens we can make a difference. Thank you, Kelly, for leading the way.

hello ann marie,
i am so thrilled with ripple, the idea and watching it grow.i wish i were an artist so i could contribute also.

your little painting here touched my heart so much i immediatly emailed kelly ( i had already donated), i had to have it. alas, it had already sold, of course.

i am writing to see if its possible there would be a way to order a print, or maybe you've painted two! :) i would love to donate more, and really love to have this little bird.

thank you!
