This is an acrylic painting I did a few years ago. (I work with gouache now usually.) I thought it fit Illustration Friday's prompt this week, which is "old-fashioned."
Dear Ann Marie: Haha, no, I don't use digital processes (yet), is all "cut & paste" by hand :) I feel more freedom as well, because I don't control very well the artistic software. Thank you! Someday I will try to do a collage digitaly. But for now, I'll create with the old techniques ChaĆto! (bye)

Beautiful illustration! You've captured a very serene and sweet feeling.
A nice serene piece of art. Makes me miss having a coal fire.

I like the reds Ann Marie. I agree with Heather, it is a very warm image. Good job.
It is so beautiful Ann Marie. I love her, and the pets looking on. The fire in the background makes me want to be there too.

Thanks to you I asked myself: why not make a digital picture entirely?
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Pensively elegant!
