Here is the painting I did for the sketch from the last post. It was done on wood, which is not yielding the happiest of results for me. It takes some getting used to as the paint doesn't flow as it does on paper because the gouache becomes absorbed into the material. I tried an underpainting of Acryla gouache which seems to work a little better than regular gouache.Here's to more experimenting.
